FastPure Blood DNA Isolation Mini Kit V2 is specially designed for rapid and efficient purification of genomic DNA from 0.1 ml – 1 ml of fresh and frozen whole blood with common anticoagulants. The kit utilizes silica-based membrane technology in the form of a convenient spin column, eliminating the need for toxic phenol-chloroform extractions, or time-consuming ethanol precipitation. RNA, proteins, Lipids and other impurities such as enzyme inhibitors are removed effectively by the wash buffer. Isolated DNA with high purity and stable quality can be used directly in down-steam applications including restriction enzyme digestion, PCR, Southern blotting.
